Traveling to Serbia We realize that traveling can be difficult and expensive, so please know that we understand if you are not able to attend. We also want to let you know that we do not expect any wedding gifts since your presence is more than we could ask for. While you're in Europe for our wedding, we encourage you to take the opportunity to visit another nearby destination. There are direct flights to Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport from almost every major European city. Alternatively, consider extending your stay in Serbia to explore Belgrade, the mountains, or the countryside. You could also turn your vacation into a road trip through nearby countries like Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, or Greece. Keep in mind that there are limited rail connections in Serbia, but there is a high-speed train between Belgrade and Novi Sad. Renting a car while in Serbia is recommended (All of the usual companies are available at the airport). Traveling around Belgrade Public transit in Belgrade is free. There are bus routes between the airport and the city center, and taxis should also be available for about $30. Uber and Lyft are not available in Serbia. Yandex Go is an alternative available in both Belgrade and Novi Sad. If you plan to use Yandex Go or a different taxi app while in Serbia, we recommend creating an account before you arrive in Europe since you may need to be able to receive a text message to verify your account. Traveling Between Belgrade and Novi Sad The high-speed train between Belgrade and Novi Sad is the fastest and cheapest way to travel between the two cities. The train runs between Belgrade Center Station (Prokop) and Petrovaradin station across the river from Novi Sad (the Novi Sad central station is currently closed). The train runs every 30 minutes between 6:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., and the trip takes about 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased online from Srbija Voz for around $6 online.

There are free buses and trams that run between Prokop station and Belgrade city center, and there is a free bus that runs between Petrovaradin station and the center of Novi Sad. Taxis between the stations and city centers cost about $10 in both Belgrade and Novi Sad. Where to Stay We recommend finding a place to stay in the center of Novi Sad for the night of July 26th. We have organized shuttle buses to take guests between the center of Novi Sad and the wedding venue. The shuttles will leave Novi Sad at 3:00 p.m., and leave the venue at midnight. The shuttles will pick up and drop off guests at the intersection of Ignjata Pavlasa & Konstantina Danila in the center of Novi Sad. If you would like to make separate arrangements for arriving at and departing from the wedding, you can take a taxi. The venue is within range of taxis from Novi Sad, and the trip costs $25 to $30. If you are staying in Belgrade, please make taxi arrangements in advance. If you plan to have a rental car, there is plenty of parking at the venue. There is a high-speed train between Belgrade (where the airport is) and Novi Sad that runs every 30 minutes between 6:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Things to do in Serbia

• Visit Belgrade to see the historic sites and museums, eat at Michelin Guide restaurants, and enjoy the one of the party capitals of Europe.
• Visit Novi Sad for the beautiful architecture and streetside cafés.
• Explore the Dinaric Alps at Tara National Park.
• Travel along the Danube River to see monasteries and castles, including Golubac Fortress.
• Go to the countryside to experience traditional Serbian culture and food at a salaš.

What to Pack Our wedding is a semi-formal event, so please pack something nice for the occasion. Also, keep in mind that Serbia can get quite hot in July, so make sure to bring comfortable summer clothes for the rest of your trip.
